This page explains what information zark.works handles, why, and what you can do about it.
Who I am
I'm Angelo Zarkadoulas, trading as Zarkworks, in North London. I decide how the information described here is used. You can reach me at angelo@zark.works.
Cookies
The site itself sets no cookies. When the booking calendar loads, Cal.com may use cookies it needs to make the booking work.
Visit statistics
I use Umami to count visits. It doesn't use cookies. It records the page you visited, the site that sent you, your browser, your device type and your country. It does not store your IP address.
Bookings
If you book a call or a coffee, Cal.com collects your name, your email address, your answer to the booking question, any notes you add and, if you choose a phone call, your phone number. I use them to arrange and hold the meeting. Cal.com processes them on my behalf. Read Cal.com's privacy policy.
Hosting
Cloudflare hosts the site. To deliver the pages and keep them safe, it processes technical data such as your IP address. Read Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Why I'm allowed to use it
For visit statistics and for keeping the site secure, the legal basis is legitimate interests: I want to know whether the site works, and to protect it. For bookings, it is taking steps at your request before a contract.
How long I keep it
Visit statistics are kept in aggregate. Booking details are kept for as long as I need them for our conversation and any work that follows. If no work follows, I delete them within 12 months.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information I hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict how I use it, to object to my using it, or to receive it in a form you can take elsewhere. Email me at angelo@zark.works and I'll reply.
If you're not happy with how I've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
